Declaration by Parent/Guardian (the “Administrator”)

I, the undersigned, hereby declare and agree to the following terms in my capacity as the parent/guardian of the Minor whom I wish to create an investment position within the Cooperative (the “Cooperative”) via the Qalo Ya Afrika platform.

Declaration & Undertakings

I, the Administrator, hereby declare and undertake that:

a) The funds to be contributed to the Cooperative on behalf of the Minor are lawfully sourced and intended solely for the benefit of the Minor.

b) I understand and accept that:

• The investment in the Cooperative, and thereby into underlying SMEs via the Qalo Ya Afrika platform, is high-risk and the capital is not guaranteed.

• Qalo Ya Afrika and the Cooperative provide no financial advice and I am solely responsible for this investment decision on behalf of the Minor.

• I will administer the investment, including making all future contribution decisions and participating in Cooperative votes, solely in the best financial interests of the Minor.

c) I will immediately notify the Cooperative and Qalo Ya Afrika in writing of any change in my guardianship status or the status of the Minor.

e) I indemnify and hold harmless the Cooperative and Qalo Ya Afrika (Pty) Ltd from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from my administration of this investment, including any failure to act in the Minor's best interest.

Administrator’s Commitment

I commit to acting as the responsible administrator of this investment until the Minor reaches the age of 18, at which point full control and ownership of the investment will be transferred to them, subject to the Cooperative's rules.
